Following up on the resident's request, as many as 10 Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel were deployed to repair the retaining wall of the micro channel on Jalan Basuki, RT 07/02, Cilangkap Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Cipayung Sub-district SDA Unit Head Dian Kartika mentioned that the retaining wall collapsed because of erosion and age.
After the repair, personnel were also instructed to install drain covers for the safety of pedestrians, especially children who often play around the channel during heavy rains.

According to her, personnel used the vacant land near the location to make concrete slabs to cover the channel. This work has been started on Wednesday (4/6) and is targeted to be finished before Eid al-Fitr.
